On Tuesday, March 16, The Completed Life Initiative will welcome back conference speaker and palliative care specialist Dr. Jessica Zitter to discuss her involvement with Caregiver: A Love Story as Director and Executive Producer. The film tells the story of Rick and Bambi: a loving couple facing a monumental transition as Rick takes on the task of managing 59-year-old Bambi’s end of life care after she decides to forgo aggressive cancer treatment. Leaving his job to become Bambi’s primary caregiver, Rick faces unanticipated challenges for which he has little direct experience, highlighting the complex issues facing an essential, yet largely hidden workforce among American families, Rick Tash, Bambi’s husband, will be joining Dr. Zitter on the live film panel discussion, which will be moderated by Completed Life Program Director, Sarah Kiskadden-Bechtel, followed by a live audience Q&A.
