Friends of CLI @ Green-Wood Cemetery – 6/23/24

Join us for a Friends of CLI tour at the historic Green-Wood Cemetery on Sunday, June 23rd, at 3:30. In an air-conditioned trolley, a docent will narrate the role these 478 spectacular acres played in American history and continue to play in the lives of New Yorkers. Founded in 1838, its beautifully designed hills, valleys, ponds, and paths are final resting places for famous Americans, including Leonard Bernstein and Jean-Michel Basquiat. The trolley will stop throughout the tour for short walking excursions, and refreshments will be served throughout the tour. With a donation of $10 or more, you are invited to be our guest for this enjoyable summer afternoon.
