Please join us Thursday, May 16, at 5:30 p.m. for an opening reception for the Completed Life Initiative (CLI) inaugural Live from 10 Grand Central. At 6:30 p.m., we will welcome special guest Catharine DeLong and screen the first episode of Death Differently, a cinematic education series highlighting alternative approaches to death, dying, and grief.

CLI is pleased to offer Live from 10 Grand Central from our new offices in midtown Manhattan. Our building, Energy Star-compliant and sustainable, located between Grand Central Terminal and the United Nations, underscoring CLI’s desire that our mission impacts our nation and world as we seek to provide a space that brings people together to reflect on how to live better and to die well.

The first episode of Death Differently focuses on the fascinating field of “Music Thanatology” and features Catharine Delong, a certified music thanatologist, hospice chaplain, end-of-life educator, and consultant. She tends to the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of palliative patients in Salt Lake City with harp and voice. Delong is a graduate and ordained minister affiliated with the One Spirit Interfaith Seminary, lived in New York City for many years, and is a core faculty member of the Art of Dying Institute in Manhattan.
