PUBLIC POLICY AT THE COMPLETED LIFE INITIATIVE

What is Public Policy at CLI?

Public Policy at CLI encompasses three interrelated disciplines: public policy, research, and advocacy. CLI Public Policy integrates both Research and Advocacy initiatives into published recommendations that synthesize how institutional and government policy may be modified to reduce barriers in accessing completing life options and improve a patient and family’s end of life experience. CLI Research identifies key issues related to evaluating state-based institutional compliance and publishes white papers and associated peer-reviewed journal articles that examine the implications of these results. CLI Advocacy examines important legislative updates at the local, state, and federal levels, and provides selective support for cutting edge campaigns.

Public Policy at CLI is spearheaded by our Director of Public Policy & Programming, Sarah Kiskadden-Bechtel. Reach out to her with questions at [email protected].
