Individuality through Creativity feat. Poetry of Walt Whitman – Poetry Corner

In this month’s edition of the Poetry Corner, Delano Copprue kicks off a series of readings that he will continue throughout the summer. He will weave together an eclectic lineup of writers including poets Walt Whitman, Carmen Tafolla, Li-Young Lee, and philosopher Soren Kierkegraard, to explore how integrity, wisdom, and silence can lead us to a sense of self and healing. In the June episode, Delano will return to the great American poet, Walt Whitman, to explore how he found his individuality through the ways he challenged the status quo of poetry.
