Silence, Eternity, and the Completed Life feat. Writings of Walt Whitman & Soren Kierkegaard – Poetry Corner

In this month’s edition of the Poetry Corner, Delano Copprue continues a series of readings that he will continue throughout the summer. He picks up where he left off last time with the work of poet Walt Whitman and his definition of the Kosmos. The conversation then continues with the writing of philosopher Soren Kierkegaard, whose discussion on the value of silence and focusing on our individual essence can lead us to a sense of eternity, and therefore a life we can see as complete and meaningful.
